- Depart Islamabad early morning (recommended 5:00–6:00 AM)
- Drive along the Karakoram Highway (KKH) — one of the world's most spectacular roads
- Pass through Hazara, Mansehra & Besham
- Short breakfast stop at Besham or Dasu
- Drive through the dramatic Indus River Gorges
- Stop at the Junction Point of 3 Highest Mountain Ranges — Karakoram, Himalaya & Hindukush
